Bambino Watermelons

What is a Bambino watermelon??  It’s too small to be full size watermelon and too big to be a mini-watermelon;  It is a small personal size watermelon and they have been in the news (there is company marketing them as Water Babies) the last couple of years.  I was never really excited about before them because the flavor and color of the watermelon was never that great, but these are exceptional.  They come from a small farmer in Florida and more and more farmers are growing these personal size watermelons and improving on the flavor and quality of these juicy melons!  They are perfect for small households who can’t eat a whole watermelon, perfect for busy families who can’t fit a whole watermelon in their refrigerator and they are delicious and available at Peapod!
